Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction. This study takes a close look at social entrepreneurship and technological innovation during the period 2010-2022, in which a bibliometric approach was applied. Method. Documents were consulted in the Scopus database. The VOSviewer program was used for the analysis of clusters of keywords and authors, with the purpose of identifying thematic groupings and influential collaborations. Geographical distribution, languages, citations, journals, and most cited authors were analyzed. Results. An exponential growth in the production of articles was reflected, indicating a continued interest in social entrepreneurship and technological innovation. Leading countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, China, and Spain were highlighted; and among the most outstanding universities were the Universitat de València and the Tecnológico de Monterrey. The journals Sustainability (Switzerland) and Frontiers in Psychology lead in citations and academic production. Conclusion. Among the most cited articles are the papers "The digital transformation of innovation and entrepreneurship: Progress, challenges and key themes" and "Innovation for Inclusive Growth: Towards a Theoretical Framework and a Research Agenda." Lotka's Productivity Law confirms a heterogeneous distribution in scientific production, with authors contributing a limited number of articles. Thematic clusters such as business education and corporate social responsibility were identified.
