Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about radical and complex changes in the education system. In the case of secondary education in Honduras, one graduation requirement is that students complete the Social Education Project (T.E.S.). Given the lockdown measures and the shift to online education, the T.E.S. was modified through Agreement No. 277-SE-2020 published in the Official Gazette, which stipulates that it will focus on activities that do not pose a health risk to students. These activities must consist of research projects, virtual workshops on report writing, essays, or the development of social promotion projects. Innovatec selected the “Research Project” because research is one of UNITEC’s institutional pillars.
