Abstract
The Honduran food system has suffered strong impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic and hurricanes Eta and Iota. Once again, Honduras is facing a problem that threatens its food security. The war between Russia and Ukraine puts the supply chain for an adequate supply of food at risk. More than 50% of imported agricultural fertilizers in Honduras come from Russia and the increase in the price of these inputs will raise the cost of production in Honduras. We propose a call to action with strategies in the country's food sector. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.
