Abstract
Between the structural and conjunctural crises of the moment, added to a certain disdain on the part of the entire region, Central America commemorated during the last twelve months, the 200 years of political independence from the Kingdom of Spain. It was a propitious moment for retrospective and prospective analysis, to review the lessons learned, as well as the opportunities that are presented to the region in today's world. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.
