Abstract

Introduction. Quality of work life is a fundamental aspect that influences the satisfaction and well-being of workers, as well as the productivity and success of an organization. Methods. An advanced search review of scientific articles was performed in the Scopus database during the period from 2012 to 2022. The Microsoft Excel 365 computer package was used for information processing, with the elaboration of tables, graphs, and analysis of the determination coefficient. For the analysis of the co-authorship network and keywords, the VOSviewer software was used through the fractional counting method. Discussion. During the previous ten years, studies on quality of work life have had a moderate trend growth, particularly in 2019 and 2021. The most cited scientific articles correspond to the work carried out by J.M. Blanch with 14 citations in 2014. Likewise, the most relevant article corresponded to D. Pérez-Zapata et al. developed in 2014. The co-authorship network corresponded to five authors, A. Ayestarán-Aldaz, D. Fernández-Montero, D. García-Ros, A. Rodríguez-Mourille, A. Sánchez-Taita, and J. Zulueta. The following keywords as co-occurrence were found: work environment, working conditions, and occupational health. Conclusion. Quality of working life is a relevant topic of growing interest in the scientific literature.
