Abstract

Climate change is a reminder of the vulnerability in which countries like Honduras find themselves. This phenomenon exacerbates the problems of women, who face food insecurity as a result of unsatisfied socioeconomic and health factors, to which the climate threat must now be included. Although some people question the vulnerability of women to the climate crisis, women are one of the most vulnerable groups to the effects of climate change in the world and are often at the forefront of the climate crisis, according to a rapid assessment of the United Nations Environment Programme.
