Abstract
CONACIETI is a gathering of faculty researchers and students from UNITEC and CEUTEC. It serves as a platform to share and highlight the scientific work we are doing to transform Honduras and to promote international exchanges. This year, the conference was held in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual) in conjunction with International Engineering Week (SII). The in-person component took place in the city of San Pedro Sula, and a new feature was that the conference was opened up to participation from other universities. Secondary schools were also welcome to attend and present papers. The event featured keynote lectures, forums, exhibitions, and sessions for both digital and physical scientific posters. The engineering component was included in the SII program coordinated by UNITEC’s School of Engineering. Authors were asked to include elements related to entrepreneurship focused on sustainable development for Honduras, aligned with the chosen thematic area of the conference.
