On the need to promote the development and editorial innovation of Honduran scientific journals

Abstract

Scientific journals are fundamental instruments for the dissemination of knowledge, which highlights the importance of establishing mechanisms for editorial innovation in Honduras. A robust ecosystem of scientific publications in the country not only facilitates access and democratization of knowledge, but also increases international visibility, fosters scientific collaboration, reinforces credibility and transparency, boosts the development of local science, attracts resources and contributes to national progress.
