Abstract

This paper focuses on the resolution of conflicts generated by the infliction of damage to the environment and the liability that it generates, particularly when its effects transcend state borders and affect a neighboring one. Given the complexity of this subject, this is an attempt to provide a coherent explanation of how these conflicts could be resolved in the Honduran context, considering that the country's geographical location makes the occurrence of an event of this nature very likely. The paper intends to determine which solutions are provided by Private International Law according to the Honduran legal system for cross-border liability litigation.
