Abstract
This research paper aims to present a perspective on the reality in the field ofsocial housing inHonduras, focusing on the Sula Valley Region and the projects undertaken in the area between the year 2003 and 2013. Multiple deficiencies that compromise thequality of lifeof its dwellers wasevidenced, ranging from general aspects of an urban character to specific architectural aspects of the dwellings. Specific recommendations were also generated as proposals for scenarios and management actions, such as urban planning and architectural criteria which could generate an improvement of these conditions.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.
