Resumen
En el contexto de la transformación de la educación superior hacia modelos orientados al emprendimiento y la innovación, las incubadoras empresariales universitarias (IEU) se han consolidado como mecanismos estratégicos para fortalecer la formación emprendedora del estudiante. El objetivo del estudio fue analizar la evolución de la producción científica sobre incubadoras empresariales universitarias y su relación con el proceso de formación del estudiante universitario durante el período 2010–2025. No obstante, la literatura científica sobre su contribución presenta dispersión conceptual y una marcada centralización territorial de la producción académica. Se realizó una revisión bibliométrica de la producción científica indexada en Scopus y Web of Science durante el período 2010–2025. Se identificaron 54 documentos, cuyos metadatos fueron analizados mediante indicadores de evolución temporal, productividad autoral, distribución por fuentes, áreas temáticas, concentración geográfica y coocurrencia de palabras clave. El análisis incorporó de forma interpretativa los principios de las leyes de Lotka, Bradford y Zipf. Los resultados evidencian un crecimiento irregular de publicaciones con picos en años específicos, predominio disciplinar en negocios, gestión y educación, y concentración de la producción en países con sistemas universitarios consolidados. El mapa de coocurrencia confirma una estructura temática cohesionada en torno a estudiante, universidad, incubadora y formación emprendedora. El campo muestra un nivel intermedio de madurez científica y articulación temática, aunque persisten vacíos en regiones emergentes, especialmente en América Latina. La evidencia obtenida proporciona una base empírica para orientar futuras investigaciones y fortalecer estrategias universitarias de incubación orientadas al desarrollo de competencias emprendedoras.
