Abstract

The National Congress of Science, Technology, and Innovation (CONACIETI) was held on Wednesday, October 27, and Thursday, October 28, 2021, in a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This annual congress is organized by the Central American Technological University (UNITEC) and the Technological University Center (CEUTEC). CONACIETI brings together not only teaching researchers and students from UNITEC and CEUTEC but also invites other national and international researchers. For 2021, the congress emphasized topics that provided perspectives and proposals regarding the bicentennial of independence. The event had the participation of 40 teachers and 38 students, who took part with oral presentations and electronic poster presentations. The electronic poster presentation was an innovation of the congress, with the creation of a virtual room where the works presented in that format could be accessed.
